Dental IMPLANTS in Valencia
The loss of one or more teeth affects much more than esthetics. It also compromises mastication, favors bone loss, alters the position of neighboring teeth and can generate functional problems in the medium and long term. Therefore, replacing a lost tooth is not only an esthetic decision, but a fundamental action to preserve oral health.
At the Albert & Barber Clinic in Valencia we approach each implant treatment from a multidisciplinary and personalized approach, evaluating not only the patient's current situation, but also its future evolution. Dr. Maria Josep Albert performs a comprehensive preliminary study in which she analyzes bone, gum, occlusion and general stability, with the aim of offering safe, durable and fully adapted solutions for each case.
We work exclusively with high-end Straumann® implants, of Swiss origin, one of the most prestigious brands in the industry for its research, reliability and long clinical trajectory. These implants are manufactured with Roxolid®, an innovative alloy composed of approximately 85% titanium and 15% zirconium. This combination provides a fracture resistance between 10% and 15% higher than that of traditional titanium, allowing more stable treatments even in cases with less bone availability.
In addition, we combine this technology with advanced digital resources such as intraoral scanners and 3D CT scans, which allows us to perform precise planning, reduce surgical invasiveness and design functional and esthetic rehabilitations from the first consultation.
Our goal is that each patient recovers his or her smile with the maximum safety, precision and naturalness possible, ensuring long-lasting results and continuous follow-up.
Request a first assessment without obligation and we will inform you about your case and the most appropriate treatment options.
Being suitable for implant treatment depends on several factors:
General health condition (controlled diabetes, smoking habits, systemic diseases).
Bone volume and quality in the area to be rehabilitated.
Periodontal health: it is advisable to treat gum disease before placing implants.
Patient expectations and aftercare.
In Albert & Barber we perform a complete diagnosis with intraoral scanner and 3D CT to assess the viability of the implant. In many cases, when the bone is not sufficient, we offer complementary treatments (bone grafting or regeneration techniques) or alternatives such as reduced diameter implants.
Implant types and treatment options
Single implant: replacement of an isolated tooth with an implant-supported crown.
Bridge implants: rehabilitation of several adjacent teeth without grinding healthy teeth.
Full arch rehabilitation (All-on-4 / All-on-6): placement of 4-6 implants to support a fixed prosthesis.
Immediate loading: placement of the provisional prosthesis in the first 48-72 hours when biomechanical conditions allow it.
Short or reduced diameter implants: indicated solution when there is bone limitation and grafts are to be avoided.
Treatment process
Initial consultation and evaluation: clinical history, examination and panoramic radiography.
Digital diagnosis: intraoral scanner and 3D CT scan to plan position, angulation and size of implants.
Prosthetic planning: design of the ideal prosthesis before surgery.
Surgery: implant placement following the digital plan.
Osseointegration phase: period in which the implant integrates with the bone (may vary according to the case).
Placement of the definitive crown: after verifying the integration and prosthetic fit.
Periodic revisions: clinic controls to evaluate the function, hygiene and longevity of the implant.
Complete recovery of masticatory function.
Stability and comfort similar to natural teeth.
Prevention of bone loss due to lack of stimulation.
Preservation of adjacent teeth by not requiring grinding.
Improvement of facial aesthetics and self-esteem.
What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a titanium (or advanced alloy) screw that is integrated into the maxillary or mandibular bone to replace the root of a missing tooth.
A prosthesis (crown, bridge or fixed prosthesis) is then placed on the implant to restore chewing function and dental esthetics. Unlike a bridge, the implant does not require grinding the adjacent teeth, which preserves the healthy dental structure.
Why choose Straumann® and Roxolid® implants?
Straumann is one of the world's leading brands in implant dentistry. In our clinic we use Straumann implants manufactured with Roxolid®, an alloy developed by the brand that combines titanium and zirconium to improve the mechanical properties of the implant.
Advantages of Roxolid® and Straumann®:
Increased fracture and fatigue resistance compared to conventional titanium.
It allows solutions in cases of limited bone width, making possible small diameter implants or short implants when bone volume is scarce.
Mejora la predicibilidad clínica y ofrece excelentes tasas de osteointegración, lo que facilita protocolos de carga inmediata cuando el caso lo permite.
Industrial quality and strict control of materials and processes, with an extensive scientific and clinical track record to support its use.
Including this type of implant in the treatment is a safer alternative in complex situations (moderate atrophy, patients in need of minimally invasive solutions) and offers rehabilitation options with less need for bone grafting in some cases.
Who is a candidate for a dental implant?
The price of an implant can vary according to multiple factors: number of implants, need for bone grafting, type of prosthesis, prosthetic material and complexity of the case.
At Albert & Barber we offer personalized estimates after clinical assessment and digital study.
At the consultation we will provide you with an itemized quotation and financing options if necessary.
How much do dental implants cost?
IMMEDIATE LOADING IMPLANTS
Immediate load implants allow us to replace teeth in a maximum period of 72 hours. It will be Dr. Maria Josep Albert who will determine the suitability of each case for the realization of this treatment, although in general terms we can say that it is indicated for those who have lost most or all of their teeth.
With this technique we can rehabilitate complete arches by placing four to six implants together with the provisional prosthesis in the same day, which will restore the functionality and esthetics of the mouth in a short period of time .
As we know that each patient is different and has specific needs, before performing the treatment, we carry out a complete study and a personalized digital diagnosis.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Once the implant is placed, we must wait 3 months for healing and then two weeks until the crown is placed.
-
The placement of an implant is not a painful surgery, it is an inflammatory sensation of a couple of days for the intervention performed. These are placed in the bone which anatomically is little innervated at the nervous level.
-
Implants can last a lifetime if you take good care of them with good hygiene and attend their clinical controls.
-
After the placement of an implant, adequate hygienic access should be maintained with daily brushing and flossing. In addition, it will be necessary to attend annual check-ups for clinical and radiographic control.
-
An implant is a titanium screw implanted in the bone and on which a zirconium crown is placed to reestablish the function of a lost tooth. The dental bridge rehabilitates the same lost function, but it does so by resting on the adjacent teeth by means of dental caps where the teeth have been previously polished to make them smaller.
-
The healing time required for the implant to anchor in the bone is 3 months.
-
This depends on the location of the implant site and the mouth opening, but there is no limit to the number of implants.
-
It is important to avoid physical exertion at least the first day.
-
It is necessary to evaluate by means of a CT scan if the lack of bone is in width or height, and based on that decide if the bone is regenerated on the day of the implant placement or if it would be done in two sessions separated in time.
